Snake (Black-headed Python) Dreaming – Warna (Mulyukuna) Jukurrpa (Nungarrayi, Napaljarri-kirlangu)
In this dreaming story a black-headed python (Warlpiri: mulyukuna; Latin: Aspidites melanocephalus) emerges from the earth, and goes looking for water and food. It finds some small lizards (Central Netted Dragons; Warlpiri: kanari) to eat. It also finds some fresh running water to drink, in creeks (Warlpiri: karru, yulpayi). It curls itself into a circle. Later it returns down into the earth. The dreaming belongs to Jungarryi/Japaljarri and Nungarryi/Napaljarri groups.
