Deanne was married and had two children. She worked sometimes as an artists’ assistant at the art centre. She was very interested in Warlpiri language and culture. She also cared for other family members as well as caring for her family, she loved to relax and paint her Jukurrpa. Deanne used bright colours and dots with the main design (Kuruwarri) central to her work.
