Miranda is the daughter of legendary Henry Cooke who was a stockman, cook, artist and cultural adviser and leader for Warlpiri. The most striking thing on meeting Miranda is her smile which is broad, and full of kindness. Her works follow the traditional style of Lajamanu artists. She started painting recently in 2014 as she has a busy life caring for her husband, children and parents.
