The ants fly long distances looking for water. The ants knew where to find water and our people knew to look for the ants so that they could find water.

Ruth's family have a long time connection to Warnayaka Art. Her Grandmother was Lorna Napurrurla Fencer who was a ground breaking Lajamanu artist. Her mother Judy Napangardi Martin is also a fantastic artist. She now is entering into the art centre community painting her traditional Jukurrpa.
