Claudia Walker

Napurrurla grew up in Yuendumu.  She went to school there and later finished school in Melbourne.  She started painting at a very young age with her Nana then.  Her Nana was teaching her sacred knowledge by using artwork she was painting for the art centre Warlukurlangu in Yuendumu.  Napurrurla sold her first artworks here.  Now she lives in Lajamanu and continues to paint.
