Description
The story concerns Wirntiki, a bird that is seen at night who travels around the area of Tiningarri (between Granites, Rabbit Flat, and Tennant Creek) visiting waterholes. Wirntiki is also the name of a place. The story belongs to the the Warlpiri people called Juparrurla, Jakamarra (men skin names) and Napurrurla, Nakamarra (women skin names).
