About Robyn Payton/Herbert

Napaljarri was a custodian together with other Nungarrayi's for Budgerigar, Women Ceremony, Bush Vines and many other Jukurrpa. Her favourite subjects to paint were flowers, birds, butterflies grasses and plants that make their home in the Tanami Desert.  She loved to spend time at the art centre and when away from Lajamanu would discuss with other artists her next artwork, giving this a lot of thought. Her artwork could be quite detailed. Napaljarri was a member of the local Baptist Church where she made a huge contribution to the well being of Lajamanu.
